WordPress- Maintenance & Support

WordPress Maintenance Packages & Security Updates.

Website maintenance isn’t for everyone.

Most business owners have better things to do than spend their time checking WordPress updates, monitoring security alerts and wondering whether clicking “Update All” is going to improve the website or break something important.

That’s why AuthoritySites offers three WordPress support packages, giving you a choice of ongoing care depending on the size of your website and the level of support you need.

WordPress doesn’t stand still once your website has been launched. The WordPress software, theme and plugins continue to receive updates that improve security, fix problems and maintain compatibility with newer technology.

Leaving those updates untouched for months can create unnecessary problems. Some routine updates can wait until a scheduled maintenance check, while important security fixes may need dealing with much sooner. The sensible approach is to monitor the website regularly and apply updates carefully when they’re needed.

And by carefully, I don’t mean pressing every available update button and hoping for the best.

Before important updates are carried out, the website should have a reliable backup. Once the work is complete, the main pages and essential functions should be checked to make sure everything is still working properly.

Our maintenance packages include scheduled backups of both your website files and database. Together, these contain the content, settings, images and technical structure needed to restore your website if something goes wrong.

No backup can prevent human error, software conflicts or malicious attacks. What it can do is give us a clean recovery point, allowing us to get the website running again without having to rebuild everything from the beginning.

Where included within your selected package, backup copies will also be made available through your secure AuthoritySites Office, giving you future access to download and retain them for your own records.

The purpose of website maintenance is simple: to keep your WordPress website secure, current and working as it should—without turning it into another technical job on your list.

I'm Pretty sure you didn't build your business to become a part-time WordPress technician. That's my job, not yours!
